Day 1 ~ Day 2 ~ Day 3
November 19-20, 2004
Washington, D.C.
After the workshop, several of us took a "twilight tour" of D.C. One of the prettiest sites was the capitol at night. Notice the light on; our legislators were still at work late into the night.

This is the Jefferson Memorial at night with the top of the Washington Monument to the left.

From the Jefferson Memorial, across the lake toward the Washington Monument. My camera was able to bring in enough light for this photo and reflection.

The next pictures are from the Roosevelt Memorial. It was beautiful at night; I need to go back and see it during the day.

The next morning started a full day. I wanted to see the tiger cubs at the National Zoo, so I got up early and headed back. They are below. Below them is a picture of a sleepy panda -- see, I was there early.

Later that day, I visited the Museum of the American Indian (pictures from the lobby below). Then I went to the National Holocaust Museum. The next day was church at St. John's (see first page) and then flew home.
