Go Pack Go!
December 22, 2002
Lambeau Field, Green Bay, Wisconsin
I guess you could call me a Packers' fan, but I'm not quite as 'fanatic' as some. Coming to Lambeau was something I had wanted to do for a long time. For a football fan, it's kind of like a pilgrimage.

Here's Lambeau as I'm walking up to the game. There was a bus from the hotel, so I didn't have to get a car and then try to park. Below you'll see some of the fans on game day. They really make a big deal about it. Many will 'tailgate' for hours before and after the game. Some of the 'tailgating' happens at local restaurants. One of the locals told me that many people that don't have a ticket (or don't want to buy a ticket) to the game, will just come and hang out around the stadium.

The Packers won the toss. Here's Favre dropping back to pass on the Packers first series.
First play of the game
The game was pretty much a defensive battle. This field goal was the first points of the game. The weather was cold (about 25 degrees F), but the wind was a big factor too.

This was a common scene that day -- Bledsoe getting sacked by Holliday.

Of course, 'The Pack' prevailed. Final score 10 to 0.
Final score: Packers 10; Bills 0
Many people say you have to have a picture of yourself wherever you go so you can prove you were there. Here I am! Sorry I'm not happier-looking but IT'S COLD AND WINDY!
