| September 4, 2004 Louisville, Kentucky I worked at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary for almost twenty years, so, I had heard of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary for many years but had never been there. I decided to stay one night in Louiville and thought that would be a nice place to stay. The room was very nice and quite reasonable. The campus was very nice, and the people were too. Two views of the campus are below. |

| If you've seen my other pages, you know I am quite a fan of zoos. Below are some pictures from the Louisville zoo: first a young giraffe, then a baby tiger -- there were three of them, but only one was posing. | |||

| The Bald Eagles below were rescued animals. They had gunshot wounds that caused them each to lose a wing, thus they cannot fly and cannot return to the wild. | |||

| I mentioned in one of the Indiana pages that I saw quite a few butterflies on this trip. The Louisville zoo had a butterfly exhibit. | |||

| Two of my favorite animals at any zoo are penguins and otters. The guys below did not disappoint me. | |||

| While in Louisville, I had to stop at the Louisville Slugger Factory and Museum. I got to take a tour and see bats being made. | |||
